through personification
per se
otherwise tolerated
now accepted

white roses turning black
scriptures oppressing the weak
anarchy prevails
turn on the new age of
ignorance and disorder

troubling thoughts come and go
through the mind of the pig
the thoughts hit like freight trains
and leave like cat burglars
the pig liked it
and thrived on it
until those thoughts tore his soul
and the pig was no more
