A few of my horror poems:
tears of blood
rolling off the face
shotgun hole
in the side of the head
dreams of suicide
on the side of the bed

drip…drop…
neon lights flash
drip…drop…
flickering lamp
drip…drop…
cigarette smoke
drip…drop…
laughing children
drip…drop…
tv deafens the ear
drip…drop…
mother wears the mask
drip…drop…
father takes a drink
drip…drop…
fist takes the anger
drip…drop…
blood has no end
drip…
drop..

pedal rocking back and forth
through the thick air
touches down in the algae filled pond
she reaches for the red leaf
only to find her reflection
closer and closer
head submerged by green liquid
by the forceful hand of her intruder
no one can hear her cry
splashes and bubbles
no one can hear her scream
splashes and bubbles
no one can hear her desperate plea
splash… bubble…
pop…
silence is deafening
there’s now a mass of yellow liquid
as tensions are released
chirping birds fly above
and a grinning figure arises
there’s a silhouette in the distance
then nothing but static

sea of blood
drowning into the walls and onto the floor
smile for the camera
